cbd oil anxiety forum

Reflecting the next morning, I was most surprised by the fact that I never felt “high” in any way—there was never a moment of It’s kicking in; I can feel it now like with pain medications or even anti-anxiety drugs. Considering it takes time, consistency, and the right dosage to experience the full effect, I continued taking the oil once a day for the next six days. Here’s what went down.

When I first learned about CBD oil, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical. My mind immediately turned to weed and the unnerving experiences I’d had with heightened anxiety in college. For me, a person who’s already predisposed to overthinking, marijuana, no matter what the form, would typically put my mind into overdrive and result in a common yet dreaded side effect: Paranoia. But, let’s back up a bit. What even is CBD?

My First Impression

Looking to learn more about CBD? These are some of my favorite products to help get you started.

Would I say that CBD oil has fundamentally changed my life? No. But per the Charlotte’s Web website, this is the typical first experience. “Anyone who has ever started a new vitamin or supplement routine knows the short answer to how long it takes to kick in is—’it depends.’ For many newcomers, they’re not sure what to imagine, or some anticipate a huge change right away. For most of us, though, dietary supplements take time.”

For those new to CBD, Charlotte’s Web recommends this hemp oil. Containing 17mg of CBD per 1mL serving, this CBD oil is also U.S. Hemp Authority Certified. Choose from four different flavors including Lemon Twist, Mint Chocolate, Orange Blossom, and Olive Oil.

Hi. I was listening to the radio earlier today, there was a conversation about using CBD for panic attacks and anxiety. It was very interesting. But what I wonder is, does anyone on here have advice on it. Im on antidepressants for a number of years & 2mg anixcalm and I just wonder would it be worth looking into with my GP. Ive an appointment next week, this is why I am asking you all what ye think so I have plenty of information before this appointment. (it is available where I live in chemists) Thank you in advance

I have vaped CBD ejuice, used CBD shatter and also bought a full spectrum oil and found very little benefits from it if any. In saying that it supposedly takes several weeks to start working but it is costly and I doubt you will get a GP (UK anyway) that will or even can prescribe it. they wont even prescribe Lustral due to it being expensive

Thanks Tom. seems some of it is available here, you just go to chemists. why I wonder is, if its that good why would a GP etc., not mention it. Im on Lustral & Ive had my dose upped a few months ago, I am getting there but its slow. seems (the oil) costs 27e, now how long that lasts I dont know hence my post, Thank you for getting back to me I think I will ask about it next week & see what she say, take care

I thought the evidence was that cannabis increases anxiety and depression?

As much as I’ve taken the piss in the past, this was good advice.

To the OP, I work in big pharma – we have a pretty good system called GXP (Good manufacturing practice, documentation practice, laboratory practice etc). In my experience the QC/QA of CBD oil is either non-existent or terrible. I’ve seen enough things that would scare the general public despite the ridiculously tight regulation that we work to, I’d really hate to think of the crap that goes on in the market you are looking at.

It may be worthwhile reviewing your lifestyle and keeping a diary of what you’ve been eating and drinking. If you’re taking other meds could they be an issue ie taking too close to food, tea or coffee. Have you had any recent blood tests done, if so where do the numbers fall within the range. Don’t just accept ‘everything’s fine’, you need to see for yourself. Scraping along at the bottom of a range doesn’t help neither does not absorbing which often gets overlooked. Magnesium could be worth a look at.
As someone who struggles with sleep I do sympathise. fwiw I sometimes use melatonin and 5-HTP patches, alternatively melatonin pills or herbals.

CBD brothers – The purple one is good. Get it online for cheapness.I tried it during a tricky phase at work and it help me poker face through some very tricky meetings. It’s also good for long stressful journeys.
