are all cbd oils the same

Additionally, our hemp oil undergoes our rigorous Triple Lab Testing® process. Three separate times throughout the manufacturing process, independent testing laboratories inspect our CBD oil to make sure it has the ideal concentration of cannabinoids, including CBD.

You may have seen hemp-based oils and products at your supermarket or health food stores along with hemp food products , but these products are different than CBD hemp oil products.

Clean Extraction Process

Although it’s more expensive and requires experienced lab technicians, we use a supercritical CO2 process, rather than use a potentially toxic solvent, to safely and carefully extract our CBD oil to eliminate any risk of contamination. Ultimately, this choice in extraction process was motivated by the safety of our products for all our customers.

However, hemp seed products, including hemp seed oil, contain extremely low levels of CBD, which means they’re not a viable option for those looking to support their health with CBD.

When it comes to hemp oil vs CBD oil for anxiety, both can help to reduce it, although it is typically agreed that CBD oil is better overall for treating anxiety. It positively interacts with the endocannabinoid system – aka what regulates our moods. Studies have found that it can help ease social anxiety and get rid of fear.

CBD can be extracted from both marijuana and hemp. However, as marijuana is illegal in most places, much of the CBD you’ll find on the market is made from hemp.

The benefits of CBD oil is that it is used to treat a number of different conditions including anxiety, depression, pain and PMS, and is said to have beneficial effects on concentration, energy levels and sleep. It’s also sometimes used topically as an anti-inflammatory (but you might want to check the price before you start pouring it on your bad back – some CBD oils can cost around £140 for a small vial).

Testing and Safety Standards

Of the available hemp oil products that contain high levels of CBD, safety standards and consistent cannabinoid content set high-quality products apart from others. High-quality CBD oil products have established testing standards to ensure safety, and measures to ensure products contain consistently high levels of CBD.

CBD oil products should undergo rigorous testing to ensure that products are safe. Hemp plants are bioaccumulators, which means they can pull contaminants found in nearby soil. CBD hemp oil products should therefore be tested to make sure that they’re free of any heavy metals, mold, mildew, fungus, yeast, bacteria, and other harmful materials. Ideally, plants are grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers, but if they are, a strict testing regimen will be able to check for the presence of any residual solvent and ensure that a product is safe for you or a family member.

CBD concentration can vary significantly between different CBD oil products. There are approximately 3,000 unique cultivars of plants containing CBD. The ideal products contain hemp oil derived from stalks of cultivars of hemp that are naturally abundant in CBD. You may also want to select one that contains oil that has undergone a decarboxylation (heating) process to increase its CBD percentage.
